Our Mould oil is specially blended, highly versatile, economy grade Mould oil.
This product provides a cost effective option for the production of Formwork Cast Concrete.
Its is best suited for use on site applications and can be used with a variety of substrates including overlaid and varnished ply-wood and also steel.
Its has been formulated to give and optimum release of formwork and high quality of finish to concrete over a wide range of mix designs.

Application
Do not dilute; apply uniform coating to cleaned formwork surface avoiding excessive application. Apply as soon as possible after previous cast to give added protection from the weather. Use spray equipment, (which Miers can supply from plastic to metal) or brush, swab and roller. Any excess should be mopped up. For new ‘unsealed’ timber forms pre-treatment is recommended with Easywax a second coat applied prior to use. This will Extend the useful life of the form and help to standardise surface absorbency, Product only suitable for inside applications if area is well ventilated.
Coverage
25 to 45M2/litre dependant upon type of form, porosity, texture of surface and ambient temperature.
Storage
Mould Oil is manufactured in sealed drums requires no special storage facilities. If spraying care should be taken to minimise inhalation and contact with eyes, ensure adequate ventilation during application.
