Head Restraints for internal block walls or the inner skin of cavity walls within framed structures

HR1 Head Restraint to suit 100mm and 140mm wide blockwork Built into and concealed within the depth of the block wall aollwing vertical deflection of the structure and expansion/shrinkage of the masonry panel up to a maximum of 50mm Standard HR1 to suit a full 215mm high block course. Also available in sizes between 150mm and 215mm upon request Fixed to the structure via a slot, hole or cast in channel HR1- S = Slot for M8 fixing HR1- H = Hole for M8 fixing HR1- 28 = Notch for 28/15 cast in channel HR1- 38 = Notch for 38/17 cast in channel Load capacity: 1.0kN

HR2 Head Restraint to suit 100mm and 140mm wide blockwork wall Two part clamp with 10mm diameter hole for M8 fixing to steel o rconcrete Allowing upto 25mm deflection/expansion tolerance of masonry or frame Other sizes available upon request Load capacity: 1.0kN

HR3 Head Restraint heavy duty angle cleats to suit non standard wall thickness Alternative to HR2 restraints, staggered either side of wall and suits any thickness of wall allowing up to 25mm deflection/expansion tolerance of masonry of frame Two 10mm diameter holes for M8 fixings to steel or concrete Standard length = 150mm, other lengths available upon request Load capacity: 1.0kN

HR4 Sliding Anchor Head Restraints for cavity wall applications The HR4 laterally restrains the head of masonry panels and allow for vertical movement between the structure and masonry via a vertical stem within the cavity zone. At lease two ties are required per stem which remain in place as the stem moves vertically as the frame deflects Ties are available in one way or two way options and can be chosen to suit the head detail and external skin. Both have a drip, central slot for the stem and are manufactured in 25mm increments
